Every educator's path to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) implementation looks and feels different, as there are hundreds of strategies that align well with the UDL framework. However, there are some common best practices often used during the beginning of implementation that can help move the process of implementation along. This workshop will help educators with moving implementation forward by diving into some high leverage strategies that will get the UDL wheels turning and will help make learning experiences more equitable and inclusive.
Learning Outcomes:
Will be able to design a choice board aligned to a specific learning standard
Will use 1-3 tech tools that can assist with improving lesson accessibility
Will understand how to use the 'Would You Rather' method in learning experiences
What to Bring:
Every participant should have a device and reliable internet connection
Educators should bring their own lesson plans and materials to the session
